Animated Music Videos

Animated Music Videos or AMVs for short. They usually involve clips of Anime accompanied by J-Rock. How do you feel about AMVs?

Would you watch them on a music channel - because I think some of them are very well produced and intelligently thought out. I'd watch them all day on an Anime channel. Even if just to hear the kind of songs I never would otherwise listen to. Maybe there could be a special hour on some music channels.

I like One Piece a lot, and I like the AMVs of the battles and fights. Particularly I like the Arlong Park Arc. They can also be really useful to get a sneak peak on an arc you missed out on and have to catch up on.

Also, streetfighter is cool. I'm not 100% certain that they're all that interesting if you don't watch the shows.

Well the musical question is, do you think fan made AMVs are valid as music videos for the artists and bands they use on the clips?

This video is a year old and it's got all the best footage from Arlong Park and the New Fishman Island. The song is German Rock.

Before there was only a really good one with the fights and "Evolution."

And then obviously, there are more popular songs combined with franchises.

A bit cheesy but I like the chance to hear new alternative American Rock.

I personally luv them, i luv music and i luv anime and when they put them together in a well edited AMV? They done good. here are some of my Fav
