transpose song piano to guitar

hi all
I'm an average guitar player who is self taught who can read some basic music but who generaly uses tab.
I was going on youtube tutorials to learn the song
now comes the night by Rob Thomas
I really love the piano version and was wondering if it can be coverted to guitar note for note and if someone had done this.
the piano sounds so simple yet so full.
Makes me feel like learning piano.
any advice appreaciated
