I came to a conclusion that Goofle already posted about, making my post not accurate.

Yes, people vote.

Let's go with that since you're the only one who's expressed a preference, and it's what I originally meant anyway.

Neither - send me four albums and four singles. It would probably be unwise to use your four favorite right away, but do what you want.

I thought it was 4, so how many do we send again?

OK, don't "reuse" or repeat song titles or album titles. I was trying to figure if "overlap" meant using more than one single from an album, or using the same band more than once in the "group stage."

Do we have to work out all the songs for the whole tournament (whatever that totals) or wait to see if we will be eliminated? I guess there are eliminations after every round, right?

You send four albums, four singles this time round. And you can only use two of the previous four if you get through to the next round.

I like how you gotta be kinda strategic with what you use. Makes it so you can't spam the same incredible album in every single round and it enforces a much wider variety of selections from each year

Yikes. I'm not sure I'm going to have time to figure out a bunch of officially released singles for this every couple of days.

Well pretty much everything you could really need would be on that musical year's wikipedia probably

I just scrolled through this for a while for the singles:
1977 in music - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Looks like it only lists the big hits as far as singles are concerned.

I'm not that down for the officially released singles tbh. I aimed for that but I couldn't find enough that I liked so I went with the most highly praised track from an album of my year for one of my singles.
