I certainly never received a PM about any second round

im still not really clear on how it works but it seems like a 1 on 1 match up but where do ppl talk about the albums they chose for their year and how do ppl vote on the winner?

Pretty much exactly what i'm curious about too. That's why I mentioned that I had sent in albums a while back (from what I remember).

I just looked, and I did in fact send a PM with 4 albums, and 4 singles, but I never saw them show up in this thread. If we're doing this all via PM, this thread is completely pointless.

i agree.

This thread could be self sustaining if ppl argued their cases on the thread and then ppl vote for them.

Sooooooo, there's been no response for 2 months. I guess we can officially consider this dead.

Well I was gonna say 1969.
Abbey Road - The Beatles
The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground
Trout Mask Replica - Captain Beefheart
In the Court of the Crimson King - King Crimson
Moondog - Moondog
Let it Bleed - The Rolling Stones
Hot Rats - Frank Zappa
Led Zeppelin I and II - Led Zeppelin
In a Silent Way - Miles Davis
Tommy - The Who
Monster Movie - Can
Nashville Skyline - Bob Dylan
An Electric Storm - White Noise
Atlantis - Sun Ra

That is quite a year.
