Default New albums you're digging (2015)

Aight, have you gotten around to listening to any albums from 2015 yet? Do you dig them? Post them here.

Unfortunately, I've not listened to any albums from this year yet, but I have a goal of not falling behind as I did last year..!

Not too sure about this in terms of genre. Very heavy guitars but the voclas are a little light for metal, yet the guitars make it too heavy for AOR. Melodic metal? Damn good anyway.

This is great too. No Youtube unfortunately. Sort of harder edge pop meets rock with the odd cello, and she has a hell of a voice too.

More metal. This is pretty damn good on first listen.

I rather liked Desert Sun, pretty good man. I'd place them more along the Hard Rock side of things, Metal sort of makes sense, but to me, not a branding that really sticks.

That woman you posted sounded interesting haha.

A Skylit Drive, see, never been keen on those guys. They just don't seem to really try, sort of always take that safe approach to the kind of music they play. Maybe one day they will put something out that I can get in to.

Acid Mothers Temple / Anthroprophh - Sign of Benzaiten / Apophenia: Pretty cool split. The Anthroprophh song kind of makes me think of a more drug infused version of The Fall.

Peter Brötzmann, 灰野敬二 [Keiji Haino] & Jim O'Rourke - Two City Blues 2: Pretty awesome stuff. And what you would expect from this trio.

^I second the Haino/Brotzmann/O'Rourke album. Great record.

Well I unfortunately haven't had much of a chance to listen to much new music as of yet, but I really like the new Death Grips instrumental album that just came out.

What's wrong with the existing Albums You're Digging thread?

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

It's not year-specific.
