You know my reasoning is probably screwy, because surely I also listen to a ton of stuff other people don't know. But yeah, Patton rules, and music we have in common includes Ariel Pink, Solid Space, Broadcast, The Promise Ring and Texas Is the Reason.

bublbasaur is the only person I know who is a fan of Rose Melberg so he's way cooler than anybody I know, esp. people who are like metalheads or dubsteppers.

Mondo Bungle I dig Mondo's synth sensibilities and his Folk-Punk isn't too revolting.

Neapolitan: I can never get a handle on his taste in music, besides that he likes old, old school stuff, but his taste feels somehow dorky. Like, even in 1967, he would have been a square.

I admire its ambition too much to really care about the bad songs. They're so short too, that it doesn't really take you out of the album. I'd say at least two thirds are good to great.

Mondo: Listens to a lot of more extreme/experimental music that I'm not usually in the mood for or into. Our last.fm's say we have VERY HIGH similarity in music, mostly with pop punk and emo bands. He's into a lot of more crusty/hardcore punk I used to listen to more of.

Nea: Choice taste in oldies, indie, and garage rock. I haven't seen him play much else but I always dig what he plays in plug.

Goofle: Plays some stuff I'm not familiar with or accustomed to listening to in plug but it's always really good when I like it.

Frownland: Most of the stuff he listens to either bores me or annoys me. On the off chance I'm in the mood for jazz that isn't too avante garde we have some similar tastes.

Bulbs: Another stellar plugger. Great taste in indie, emo, and melodic punk stuff. End up grabbing almost everything he plays in plug.

LiLs: Great stuff from the 60s and 70s. I'm not always in the mood for The Carpenters or Simon and Garfunkle but am super happy to have been re-exposed to their music by her because when I am, I really end up enjoying it.

1. While I constantly **** on you for the horrible bands you hate, you do like a lot of cool stuff.
2. You certainly have fantastic taste, but there's a lot of junk mixed in there. Generally on some good tunage though.
3. I'm stunned that you can like prog music and dislike long and complex instrumentals. It's strange. Generally don't really dig anything you post apart from the odd classic that you proceed to **** on but you contribute so much to the site that it works out.
4. Seriously awesome listening and creating sensibilities.
5. No more cool points for you.

Which one is which? a. Mondo Bungle b. Trollheart c. The Batland d. Goofle e. Everyone who rallied for Def Leppard and Van Halen in the faceoff thread.

Dude, read the rules. I won't have this becoming that kind of thread.

8.) Almost forgot. No posting just to tell someone they have great taste in music. This isn't a jerkfest. Any such posts I will ask the mods to remove.

Hey, **** you. Take it like a man, and all that ****. You'll never really understand what it takes to make music, and thats not my problem. Do wutchoo gotta do. Everybody loves a clown.

What does that have to do with what I said?
