James has the closest to identical taste to mine.

Pet_Sounds likes some good stuff from the '60s but I think most of the more recent stuff he likes is pretty boring, and also Billy Joel sucks.

For someone who writes so much about music, Trollheart doesn't know a very broad range of it, and the stuff he does know is super random (along with being solidly not my thing).

Briks likes a lot of good stuff but also a lot that I don't like (power metal, pop-punk).

bob. and I are not always in agreement on music, but if he recommends something highly enough, I always check it out.

The Batlord seems like he has really awful taste, but I read an old journal of his (maybe multiple) and he actually likes a lot of really good stuff.

Why does nobody know what the word pretentious means?
Also with Kayleigh, what's wrong with liking music they play in clubs? There's so much snobbery about that, and it really bothers me. Electronic music is just as rich and interesting as any other genre, and I'm not just talking about 'Intelligent Dance Music'. Playing a really good set in a club is an art form in itself.

Yeah, you got me. I talk about music with MB members all the time, it's just never on MB.

Have you heard either of these? They might be more to your liking than most of his overplayed ballads.

Spoiler for :

I think you'd actually enjoy The Nylon Curtain.

That the one with "Allentown" on it? Bleh.

I'll listen to the two songs you posted sometime tonight though.

You listed the new Hotelier album as a favorite of 2014, did you not? And Joyce Manor iirc

Fair enough. Briks likes a lot of good stuff but also a lot that I don't like (power metal, pop-punk that isn't the pop-punk that I like).

I'm curious what people think of my tastes and incredibly open to recs. Oddly enough though I don't have a strong opinion on anyone else's.

I miss plugging though, it was my favorite way to share and banter. Yo, plug homies. New comp soon hopefully.

Well, I remember that Wolverinewolfweiselpigeon mentioned that she enjoyed Girls in the Garage. Hey wolverine, you might also Thee Headcoatees. I recently listened to their album "Girlsville", and I had a blast with it!

Not saying there's anything wrong with her music, just that she seems to use it as drug paraphernalia.

Carpe Mortem: If I ever need music to get stoned and commit suicide to, I'll go to her.
