I feel the same way about Doom that I do about Kanye.. less rapping more beats. I was just throwin it out there to take a dig at Goofle, we have very different tastes in the underground scene.

I'm the minority, no one really likes most of the hiphop I enjoy. Just came to stir the pot.

im on pot and i gotta question, if El-p and Doom ain't good enough for you, which Mc's are?

I think they're both pretty good and im curious to hear who do you think tops them..

Go to the hiphop forum and look through my posts in the reco thread or some threads I've started... "A list of artists you probably never heard of" will give ya a good idea.

Sounds like alot of work, i would be satisfied if you just named 2 Mc's that are better than El-p and Doom.

I'm a pretty huge fan of Mr. Lif myself. I Phantom is one of my favorite hip hop albums. I own that Last Emperor album as well; it's decent but not something I listen to much. The Loyalists are new to me, I'll have to check them out.

It's weird that you seemed to be downing El-P a few posts ago though, since he was fairly involved with I Phantom.

And we probably agree on 80% of Hip Hop related music.

I can understand you not completely digging DOOM, but EL-P is a strange one. I would say he's exactly the kind of artist you would like based on what you play/post. And he does it better than pretty much anyone else.

Yeh I was speaking about his rapping, I think he's a great producer. Shoulda been more clear. I'm not part of the Run the Jewels hype train.
