I can't be ****ed to read through all these pages of nonsense to figure out what this apparent drama is coming from.
TheBatlord: All metal aside, pretty solid taste. Seems to have an affinity for grungy sounding stuff whether or not it's grunge, see: The Stooges, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. And I love grungy sounding stuff a lot as well, so that's all fine by me. Although I feel like if a band steps too far out of his boundaries he'll dismiss it. Recommendation: |

That's it. Bat was right on all of his guesses.

Hm, that makes sense too although I don't know how awesome my creating sensibilities are. Although I think my new album Battle of Worlds is pretty cool personally, I'm still in the beginning stages and feel like others could see it as rudimentary and lame. Although there are a few songs on there that go hard. And I thought that because I do listen to a lot of stuff that Frown considers garbage
EDIT: That was most definitely self-advertisement, in case anyone was wondering |

Rough Stuff is pretty much all experimenting with different things. Battle of Worlds has a tad of that ("The Search For Life"), but yeah, much more thought and focus. "The Courtyard" is definitely my favorite song that I've made, and "Giant's Call" is up there. Probably could use a better drum sound, but I love that one.
Edit: what'd you think of that one I sent you on FB? I thought it had a hefty Masonna sound, especially if I threw in some vocals. |

I had to give you their most accessible sounding song to begin with
One of my all time favorite bands, and this might be my favorite track. These might be more your speed (I don't know how to use the spoiler tags, I've tried but it hasn't worked) Definitely check out Gruntruck. Do you know Jon Spencer's other band, Heavy Trash? |
