You're young, and indeed still have something to prove, so I can understand this, and it really showed some progress to me that you excepted Rush wholeheartedly. I got an even bigger kick out of you freaking out about Praxis, since that's a genre you wouldn't normally seek out. You're musical taste is really right on par with someone your age. Not beyond, not below, but right there at the fulcrum point with which one starts to grow into who they will become for the rest of their life.
this is so very great hahaha

FWIW what I said about you was in retrospect a little harshly worded. It wasn't necessarily a value judgment - basically I was just trying to say that most other people who are big contributors to the site listen to/talk about a broader range of stuff so I think of you as kind of an anomaly in that regard.

I would, but then Batty would have my post deleted for not being dramatic enough. I like your taste, feel free to drop me a rec anytime.

I think a lot of that has to do with my workload. As I said, I have tons of music yet to listen to, while I write articles for my many journals, try to keep up with threads and also keep the update thread going. So I really don't have all that much time for exploring music that I may like, or may not. I've more than enough to occupy me. Plus there's looking after my sis, which takes a lot of my time. A lot of people work, true, and I don't (at least, not in the conventional sense) so it probably seems like I should have more free time, but in reality I don't, and what I do have is pretty much filled up anyway.

Get off my lawn, punk.
