I've been driving around a work truck lately, wearing a camo truckers hat and listening to US99 (thats a country station), and well... I'm kinda liking the lifestyle. Everyday is a no-brainer.

I really like 90's rap, but not hardcore gangsta rap i like the cheesy kind.

I like Gangsta rap too but i would take Kid & Play over any of them cause they don't deal drugs or shoot ppl they just throw house parties.

In fact the house party movies capture the era i like about rap in the music and the attitude.
it was all about fun and neon clothing back then.

I like Slade, sort of! First read about them in a secondhand copy of Lillian Roxon's Rock Encyclopedia in the early '80s and bought Play It Loud on vinyl at Colony Records in NYC where they had a Slade poster on the wall in all their glorious buffoonery. Early Slade is still the best, I think.

I hear
"There's no home for you here kurt cobain"
Instead of
"There's no home for you here girl go away"
In that white stripes song.

im currently obsessed with Mona Soyoc.

Her vocals are so good.
Even with all her ramblings she always finds a hook and she's always so theatrical in her approach.
She acts out her songs and the little character stories in them and gets really into it to the point that she comes off a little crazy

She's so ballzy and weird i can't help but to admire her <3

Listened to this track in the car with my mom, and she wasn't really listening to the lyrics. Later, I mentioned that the BBC had banned it for the line "Lie down on my bed and get you ready for my body gun". Her reaction:

Spoiler for :
Oh, so that's the banana he was talking about!

My mom's cool.

I hear you, every time I get in my truck it's basically CCR, Allman Brothers, and Hank Williams on repeat. Some music fits a particular setting so well it can't be ignored.
