bass and drum duos
Been thinking about starting a band lately. A couple of my coworkers are musically inclined and into some of the same **** I am and I've always want to play bass in some dingy, minimalistic, noisy garage rock band with just guitar and drums. But I'm hopeless on guitar. Bass is my place. Anyone have any good recs for inspiration?

Belly Button, a french band active from 1994 to 1998, played aggressive and groovy music using only bass and drums. I guess it won't be easy to get any of their recordings since they never really gathered attention outside France. But it was a good band as far as i can remember.
