Default Artists(or albums) that sound unique or different.

What are some artists (or albums) that you think sound unique or different, or at least did at one point?

It doesn't really matter if it's a small or major thing that makes the artist sound different, it might just be the vocals, it might even be the lyrics, the instrumentals, or it might just be the sound as a whole. Sometimes the individual songs don't really sound unique, but the album as a whole does.

I'll start off with these four, I know more, but I don't want a huge post:

NoMeansNo- Wrong
The closest thing I can think of to this post-hardcore album is minutemen. However, it's a pretty damn unique album.

Maximum the Hormone.
This is a Japanese band that is a mix of pop punk and nu metal at it's core, but it's also mixed with various other genres, and it just manages to sound different as a whole.

a band I just discovered thanks to DeadChannel, Melt-Banana.
This one is a japanese noiserock/experimental rock and hardcore punk. However, it sounds unlike any noise rock I've heard. Although the vocals are quite strange, they make this band stand out more.

The Crucif*cks.
''What the actual **** am I listening to?'' was my first thought when putting on their self titled album. It's a punk album with some really weird vocals.
