For a so good forum as you claim it to be, I thought that you should pay attention to bigger problems. I didn`t really expect that writing with caps lock on will really disturb you and will be a more important fact than answering a thread with an off-topic comment and making jokes on it. I didn`t know that Trollheart is supposed to discover every single miscalculation in a thread and put it in highlight. I`m really sorry that I PUSHED HIM TO DO IT ! O.O So as I can`t keep up with your intellect, I understand that it`s actually my fault that Trollheart commented with an off-topic idea ! I provoked him to do that by wirting with CAPS LOCK, I get it ! You`re so smart.. I guess that if Trollheart hadn`t commented here from the beggining, you wouldn`t have said anything against me writing with caps lock . That`s what I think.
It was a joke for God's sake jeezus how long have you been on the Internet.

@Amedeo MCh

Well, to respond to your original question earnestly, I think you'd find if you had stayed around a bit longer before creating this thread, that for the most part people here aren't just fans of one single style. Sure, people prefer certain kinds of music over others but most regulars appreciate music on a pretty broad scope, which makes it hard to generalise and claim fandom of just one certain style.
So one possible reason that you've mostly gotten responses poking fun at your thread title etc. may be that the thread topic may be, if not pointless, certainly a bit redundant, really.
But as others have said, get to know the forum and the people here a bit better, and you'll probably understand that no one is trying to belittle you through their joke posts.

Touchy touchy!
It's well-known internet manners that you do not shout (ie use caps) and it is frowned upon. If you can't take some friendly banter, look at the title of the forum. You're kind of stuck, y'know? If you want people to take you seriously try, as GD said, thinking about your threads rather than post questions that have been asked, and answered, thousands of times already. Do something original.

And as for focussing on one aspect, isn't that just what you're doing, going on and on about my comment (which was humorous but still meant to advise you that you could annoy people) and ignoring all other aspects of your own thread? Also, remember that a mod here backed up what I said and you just snapped at him, so I guess you don't take advice, criticism or any sort of comment you see as negative all that well. As Ki said, welcome to the internet.

If you bothered to check my post count, you will see I've been here a lot more than you, and while this does not of course make my opinion any more valid than yours, it does give me a certain standing, so that if I say something people here know I'm not just trying to cause trouble. If you knew me, you would realise that is far from what I do. I don't have minions (what is this, Despicable Me?) but I do have friends here who are trying to tell you that what I said was correct. Sure, it was not the best way to respond to your thread but neither would be I THINK THIS SORT OF MUSIC IS THE KIND I LIKE!!!!!!! (You also seem to be fond of the overuse of exclamation marks, see another of your threads).

Nobody likes to be shouted at, and whether you like it or not, caps on all the time is considered shouting. Now, you could of course have done that by accident and we know that once a thread title is posted it can't be changed, except by a mod, but you could have said something like sorry or my bad and there would have been no problem. Instead you launched into an attack, first on me and then on anyone who agreed with me, which is a great way to make friends and establish yourself in a new forum.

Why not accept you were wrong, I'll accept it may have been a mistake, tempers rose (well mine didn't but you know...), things were said. Now draw a line under it, discuss your topic if you want and leave it at that. I'm programmed to be very busy and have far more to do than trade insults and jibes with someone I don't know, and to be honest, going on our initial encounter, don't really wish to know.

Enjoy your thread, and try to remember, drawing attention to the threads you make by throwing in exclamation marks, using caps and shouting "Hey you!" (also kinda rude really, considering you know nobody here) is not the best way to start. Ideally, a quick post in the "Introductions" subforum would be the way to go, then maybe check out our guide to newbies here. It may help.

Peace.

Melodic death metal tops the list for me. It's powerful, yet there is a melodic coolness to it. Words do no justice, I can only understate it.

Christian rock is an honorable mention when I want clean vocals. Awesome positive vibe to it. FYI I'm atheist, but the theme is an excuse for good sounding music.

Actually, I haven`t read all that thing because it`s not necessary. Let`s sum up : if you don`t wanna be serious, then don`t comment. Nobody pushed you to do it And I don`t know you so it would be better for me too Actually, as you say, making jokes on a stranger`s thread is far more friendlier than adressing to a community in familial terms I got it . You`re so deep and logical .

As you can see, there are people here who still leave comments related to the thread`s theme . So I think that the only one disturbed by me writing with caps lock is Trollheart and the people that support him ( who wouldn`t have commented if it hadn`t been for his intervention ) . I understand. Maybe, next time, try to judge a person not for what Trollheart says or what he thinks of that person. I don`t understand how everything is actually depending on him. He`s not such a big deal . I don`t understand how blind can some people be to say that is actually my fault that Trollheart commented on this post. I pushed him to do it by writing with caps. Oh God, then I do really have a problem ! It is nonsense, for God sake ! It`s like you wouldn`t know how to handle this situation because there was nobody here until now who wouldn`t have " obeyed " to the community`s social rules. It`s ridiculous people. Come to your senses. I`m not gonna shut up, `cause I just answered to the insults which were adressed to me. I didn`t talk to him before, so he`s the one who started this. Let`s say that we`ve never talked and so on.. I don`t want to comment here anymore, because I don`t want to make views on a thread like " Omg, he did really picked a fight Trollheart ! Let`s do him ! " . It`s soooo useless.

Sooo, let`s say : Trollheart is nothing for me and I still believe I`m right
You shouldn`t have defended him soo blindly, because you just proved nonsenses : it`s my fault, actually, you`re right !
I just answered Trollheart trying to look better than me, on my thread, highlighting the fact that we don`t know each other
I don`t know how you tried to help me, but please, tell your minions to stop supporting you so roughly, `cause all they do is to destroy the intellect you claim to have . On one hand, you try to prove me that you`re fair and you just wanted to be friendly or something, and on the other hand, they say that it`s my fault for everything you`ve said, because I should have shut up and obey to you and that you didn`t find any other way to show your superior intellect on me
Soo, these being said, please, stop commenting if you don`t have anyting to say realted to the thread`s theme. There are people who didn`t judge me for writing with caps and who still comment here peacefully, so I guess the problem is you. There are people who listen only 1 or 2 styles of music. So, who`s the one who said that I was wrong when I adressed this thread to you ? Actually, there aren`t only people who listen everysingle kind of music. So I think you were wrong and you wouldn`t have spoken for anybody, `cause you don`t know all of them So, please leave this thread and don`t come again. I really don`t need you and I won`t miss you, trust me XD

Hah, It`s good to see somebody with a preference like this, regarding the fact that you`re atheist Cool
