Go for it mate. Since I know it's not your type of music, feel free to bash it all you want, I don't mind.

You know, I think pattern recognition comes pretty much standard in most human models these days. You might wanna look into an upgrade.

Lol sounds like a cool idea to me. Been pretty inactive lately on this site, but I'm working on something huge musically which has been taking up a bunch of my time I'll post it when I'm done.

Yeah, I'm really gonna use the "Metal Month II" version of Trollheart and give that a proper, unbiased listen this time.

Suppose it depends on where you're seeing them...

Awesome sauce. I think Knuckle In the Mud would be the album you'd like best, or hate least .

Okay, I've had a look through Artists' Corner and this is not as easy as I had anticipated. Many of you have tracks there but not many albums. While I will, if requested, review tracks, I am looking more at albums, EPs, collections etc. So let's try doing it this way: if you want a review, post here and link me to the recording. Other than that, you can PM me if you want, but the idea of just going through that thread and picking out stuff doesn't look like it would really work for me.

Note: I'll update this as I get more submissions, if at all.
New additions in bold.

So far I have material from
Plankton
Frownland
YorkeDaddy
WWWP
Machine (when completed)
Rexx Shredd
Epoch6
Freebase Dali

I'll try to do them in the order I received them, if I can. So far that order is

Plankton
YorkeDaddy
Rexx Shredd
Frownland
WWWP
Machine
Epoch6
Freebase Dali

Other than those people, anyone else who wants reviews fire away. Let's try to get some sort of basic order on this thing.

Thanks

I'd be interested in participating if the gods of MB see it fit. I'll PM you details and downloads.

You've already reviewed [the cloudcover album] Frownland, so would you rather review a different cloudcover album or some of my solo stuff?

Is everyone ok with me doing that? Is there anyone who would prefer I didn't showcase their music? Would anyone like to talk about any aspect of this?

It won't be happening right away, and I've already permission from Plankton to review his second album, so that will be the first one up. But I don't want to just go in here and trample on anyone's feelings or rights. So if you want to talk to me about this concept, negatively or (hopefully) positively, you can do it here. I'll be happy to include any bio or other information you want me to, and to link anything you want, within the rules of the forum of course.

My plan is just to go into the "Artist's Corner" thing and listen and grab for review, but if you specifically want to send me other material, or divert me away from stuff you'd prefer I didn't review (works in progress, rough drafts etc) then you can let me know, and if you want to send me links for albums or music you would like reviewed that isn't here, you can do that too.

Just a chance for you guys to get your music to a very slightly larger audience and maybe get some feedback on it from the man who makes a short review into a three-volume epic. You know I won't hurt your feelings if I can avoid it, but you know by now also that I won't sugarcoat it if I don't like your music.

Anyway, up to you. Let me know if you have comments or suggestions or questions or death threats.

Peace!

Pick any songs you like and feature them any time you want. Sometimes there will be new songs. Depends on whether my buddy and I are inspired.
