Default Could really use your help!

I don't know if you happen to have seen this on any news outlets today, but a few days Kane Robinson was sentenced to 32 months because as a teenager he started a forum (dancingjesus.com) which became prolific with users sharing leaked music releases.

He made zero profit from this site, the music industry has basically tried to make an example out of him after several high profile losses against much bigger "pirates", who made substantial profits from their work and could obviously afford expert legal advice and specialist representation. He actually gave to the music industry quite a bit, buying **** loads of records and going to gigs/festivals whenever he could.

Anyway, what I am asking for is that you join and share the page - facebook/com/justiceforKaneRobinson so it can actually get some exposure and we can get the ball rolling on getting the word out that nobody agrees with the lengthy sentences handed down just because a multi-billion dollar industry is upset at a couple of kids, it would help greatly with the appeal!

I'm sure 99% of you guys have at some point downloaded leaked music or films before, many probably from the site in question, making the whole world "guilty".

Cheers anyway.

Reminds me of some cases I read about in Lawrence Lessig's book, Free Culture
