And The Bodyguard an iconic moment? That movie is utter gash and I'd be hard pressed to find a person of my generation who has seen. Heck, I'd struggle to find many that even know who Kevin Costner is.

But YOU do LOL

You know about the movie lol

The movie is an Iconic moment mostly because of the soundtrack and "I Will Always Love You" the song.

I study film at university and I'm a member of a music site. People that don't have those passions, they haven't seen the film.
The song is famous, maybe even iconic, but I don't think the film is in any respect.

So wait, is somebody considered an icon if you are not even aware that this icon exists? If she is an icon, wouldn't I know something about her. Because all I know is her name. Then again, this is coming from a person who found out who MJ was the day he died.

Alright, yeah, your opinion is irrelevant. Go stand in the corner.

Just curious. Would you say Iron Maiden are Iconic. I mean, their live performances are considered the best. Also their album covers. And their mascot. Are they Legends or Icons?

To an extent. They're right at the cusp of mainstream popularity, but not quite. Every metalhead and music nerd on Earth knows who they are, and a large percentage of rock music fans, but after that they actually become kind of obscure.

But as far as that group of people go, they seem to meet all of Soulflower's criteria by a mile. Their first six albums are definitely iconic. Even their two albums with Blaze Bailey are iconic in a negative way.

Of course. He showed the world that recording 4 minutes of silence is bankable. What a legend more like.
