My dad listens to a lot of bad junk but he's also gotten me into Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, Floyd, Beatles, etc. the classics mainly. My mom doesn't listen to much music.

The two albums that I remember listening to as a kid are Appetite for Destruction and Nevermind. I got sick of GnR but just finished listening to Nevermind, so I'd say that's an album that stuck with me.

My dad let me borrow this CD one day, and it's basically my number three album of all time now, something like that.

As awesome as that is, I'm a little bit in shock than anyone's dad is into that album. What other music did he listen to?

Well he got me into Chokebore and Cop Shoot Cop like I said before, basically my 2 favorite noise rock bands. His main **** is country (the classics like Waylon and newer alternative stuff like the Pine Box Boys and Those Poor Bastards) and metal (mostly heavy and thrash, he's really into King Diamond).

But he also knows his fair share of old school metalcore and more noise rock, The Jesus Lizard, Integrity, Today Is The Day, Cows, Guzzard, Bloodlet, Neurosis, I love them all thanks to him.

My mom had the punk, she has a lot Rudimentary Peni and Subhumans records, 2 more of my favorites. She was also all about EBM and industrial stuff.

Damn Mondo, your parents sound badass. Now I'd like to know how they managed to find each other.
