Favorite Mainstream Bands
As I've seen on this site so far there is a lot of talk and threads about indie or obscure bands and things that most people won't have heard of. And I love it I can't have many of the conversations that I have on here in my normal life.
So I wanted to throw kind off an oddball discussion into the mix. What is your favorite band/artist who is extremely popular right now were talking stuff played on the radio and/or has gotten major attention. Also send links to your favorite song by the band/artist. Mine is Coldplay, love their fist two albums to death and some of Viva la Viva, and Ghost Stories. Love their melodic sense and something about his singing just always drew me into the music. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3DEuJrAOjkI |

I agree with you on Coldplay. They're definitely my favourite mainstream band. My favourite Billboard #1 from the 21st century is "Hey There Delilah" by Plain White T's.

I like Volbeat if that counts. Aloe Blacc? He get's radio play.
Edit: I need to think on this Idk mainstream well. Ok, got it. Lorde, OneRepublic, and Ed Sheeran. I only know a few songs by each but I think they make catchy pop songs. Spoiler for Examples:
