Still think that the first two Swans albums are insane but if I had to choose a song from one it would be this.

I looked up the lyrics to it while I was listening, it's really disturbing...

weird....never in my mind would fear and Throbbing Gristle ever be in the same sentence....i think understanding the context and the feeling they meant to produce helps.....and LSD lots of LSD while listening to them

so i've been thinking about this....and for me at least it really boils down to...what really caught me of guard....and i really cannot think of anything better than Caroliner Rainbow

starting the night off drinking beers with these guys...not knowing they were in fact the band i was there to see....talking about why Alice Cooper is the true king of rock.....then being bombarded with this....wonderful

So glad I've opened this thread.
Found some new things through all your posts and remembered some already known, but forgotten ones as well.

Does anyone know David Moss' version of "Girl From Ipanema"?
It's not on youtube sadly.
It's insane as well as hilarious.

You saw Caroliner live?
I'm so jealous! It must be one of the most overwhelming concert experiences available to mankind.
I've been trying to find their DVD for some time now, but it seems impossible.

Well, I think we all already knew you were an inhuman sociopath.

yes

and what made it even better is i had no idea what i was in store for....and can honestly say that i felt genuine fear for a moment when they first started....it was truly sublime

edit

this was in response to seeing caroliner live

i personally do not think i'm a sociopath
