Ok, perfect evening would be this:
It starts off at 8 p.m. with Boards of Canada, just chillin' and relaxin' to some great IDM tunes. No beer yet, that would ruin the experience. I just want to feel like I'm in ****ing space (hmm, maybe some drugs?). At around midnight, Tom Waits will do a three hour performance. I'll probably be in awe for three hours straight. Then, at around 3 a.m. Guided by Voices, performing a 5 hour set until eight in the morning, and I will shouting along with every song. Then I can die happy (I am probably dead by then, but who cares, it was the most awesome night of my life)

Sexy Pee Story is great but Cunning Stunts is sentimental to me. If I heard it live, I would probably smile and cry the entire show. Curious to see your picks for the ideal concert, Bob. *insert gay smiley here* |
