But why would you want to listen to it live either? Once you get the point that's it. Entertainment value used up. Intellectual relevance attained. End sound experiment or whatever. Move on and only ever mention it for its historical significance. Beat annoying, pretentious Youtube commenters with baseball bat.

What I said pertains not to an assumption that an orchestra is performing it, but a reference to a video recording of an orchestra performing it as seen on YouTube.
With or without an audience? If you preformed it live with a live audience, you would have most of the same background noise from the audience. What you won't have is sound from members of a full orchestra simultaneously turning the page.
