Default Is Asian music really better for this game, or are these people just giant weaboos?

Osu is a PC rhythm game where people can make their own levels with pretty much only anime and asian music, for the most part.
For that reason I pretty much only play video game music with it.
So I made a thread asking why there isn't much english rock on there at all.

The game's based on the DS Games ''Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan'', and ''Elite Beat Agents'', the latter of which was the english version with english music only.

Here's an example of what the game is like, only normally it doesn't have all that type of stuff in the background, but the game it's based on does. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3QjSMXRYnQ You just, press circles and drag circles to the beat, pretty much.

https://osu.ppy.sh/forum/t/247646&start=0. is the thread.

Look at some of the comments.
It really made me wonder, Is Asian music really better/more fitting for the game, or are these people just giant weaboos?
I'm genuinely wondering now.
