168. I have an obscure one.

https://haydenwho.bandcamp.com/album/blue-mixtape

Why do I feel it deserves a spot? It's an underground jazz album that's actually very good, one of Bandcamp's best. It experiments with sound in some new ways and hasd excellent structure, extremely catchy rhythms, and very impressive production given his previous works. It's basoically a general reminder that all great albums are not always popular, and you might find a rare jewel in a very small place. That and every other Bandcamp/SoundcloudYoutube etc. album is an example. I think this is one of the best examples for jazz.

The Other People Place - Lifestyles Of the Laptop Cafe
I have to put this here I think, so sombre yet so danceable and catchy.

yeah Im liking this a quite a bit atm, the opening track reminds me of something by B12 with that crazy synth tone. It's definitely electronically conscious, and theyve really paired the jazz with it nicely

170.

This is a very important album to me and pretty much a mainstay and very frequent listen for me. There'd be a significant hole in my life without it.

I think this could be a great album to listen to to start getting into electronic music, it's just a super smooth glass of fine jams and sensuality. It's tongue in cheek but still as sexy and steamy as music can get, featuring downtempo hip hop virtuosity and radical turntablism from Dan the Automator, and some amazing vocals/narratives from two of the best and most diverse singers out there (Mike Patton and Jennifer Charles). This album is rampant with double entendres and amazingly magical melodies.

But I really just think it's not possible to dislike this

171. (?) La Dispute - Wildlife

easily one of the most raw, emotional, and creative post-hardcore albums i've ever heard. it's pretty rare for music to make me cry, but there are multiple songs on this thing that still cause me to tear up when i hear them. file this under poetry that transcends music.
