Best Music Films
I just wanted to know about really good music films. First rule: No Documentaries!. Mockumentaries and biopics are welcome though.
The films don't have to be about music, but music has to be an important part of the film (e.g High Fidelity) and/or there should be lots of music references. Ok I'll start by listing some: Almost Famous (amazing film, truly an epic and one of my favourite films) High Fidelity (a quirky romantic comedy which mentions many musicians) Ray This is Spinal Tap School of Rock |

Would Help! count? I guess it would. That's just a great film.
"Algernon! The laser!" I really enjoyed Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll too. Andy Serkis was spot on as Ian Dury.

I also really live Tom Waits' 'Big Time'. It's surreal as **** and I think the soundtrack to that film is better than most of his albums.

I know there's a million other excellent ones, many that have already been mentioned, but lest we forget our childhood.... I think this definitely deserves a place on the list. Will add more as I think of them.
Edit: Oh yeah and the obvious for me.
