Guess what I like (game)
 

So I made this forum account simply because I felt compelled to share an idea.
This game starts by you guys guessing songs that I may or may not like.
So give me a list of 10, I'll rate the songs from a scale out of 5.

Then adjust the type of music according my rating until you reach consistently high ratings.

Note: It's not against the rules to post more than 1 song at time or even a link to a playlist of no more than ten songs.

*July 30, 2014: So there were some lessons I've learned here for a smooth game. (The natural flow)

1. One or two songs at a time. More will take a lot of time and you need time to properly evaluate each track.

2. Provide a description of what you thought. It would nudge the direction to better songs. It would quickly filter out unfavored genres.
I guess giving some direction encourages more listings too.

3. 5 stars pretty much declares a winner. Which represents a game I call wonder track.

Sounds like a pretty good idea, but isn't ten songs a bit much? Listening to ten songs may take up to fifty minutes. One or two sounds better to me.

Ha well I never actually tried this out anywhere yet, internet or real life, so I'm not sure what parameters may be necessary/efficient.
This does raise the question how many play-throughs of a song should I do before I can make an opinion ( once? Twice? 5 times) all at once? Throughout the day? Cause I know that certain songs do grow on me rather than be an instant hit.

Try this one on for size.

Hmm, now since I haven't made any established rules, I'm in sort of a dilemma.

Do I rate songs cold? E.G just throw a number.
Or rate a song and add a description why. This could throw off the guessing factor and could make short work of the game.
Well, alright I'll go cold.

Clearing up ambiguity:

By list of 10, I mean that cumulatively.

—I can see how it could be frustrating giving me a list of 10 and there's just one song I rated low and you got to come up with another list of 10.

By high rating, ideally 4+
But you can settle at any standard 2+, 3+, 3.5+
1+ is unacceptable. (Obvious Reasons)
