In firm agreement. Well, unless you count their new album.

Also "Let's dance" by bowie cause sadly that was my introduction to bowie..

it was an 80's hit a little after i was born so that was my only reference to him and at the time and i hated it. this may sound stupid but i was too young to get how diverse he is honestly at the time if you had showed me 'space oddity' i would've thought it was by a different artist.
Bowie arguably made more bad music than good though, so it's probably a fair representation.
I guess you could have also picked 'Dancing in the Streets' as your "look at what Dave got upto in the 80's example"

But he made Modern Love in the eighties and that's top 5 Bowie songs in my book.

To me it's one of their weaker songs along with 'Silver' from Doolittle

NOFX- Franco Un American

Seriously, wtf? It's nothing like what NOFX Usually does, and NOFX is a pretty repetitive band overall.

Also, I don't recall any of Queen's popular singles being one of those hard rock songs.
I love the queen hard rock songs ^.^

I kinda like it too, it's just weird how that's the one song that got that popular by them, since it sounds nothing like their usual stuff. It' just surprises me.
I never took NOFX seriously either, they're okay. Not sure why I listened to all studio albums though..

True, that's the only song from them i actually saw the video make it on Tv (it was either on Much music or MTV2) but i guess it just cause that particular song had a more commercial appeal than their usual stuff..

'Pretty fly for a whiteguy' by Offspring.

Their CD 'Americana' is actually not a bad CD but you can hear the songs have a more commercial appeal to them cause they were trying to make it into the mainstream but you can still hear traces of the old Offspring in it..

I think that goofy ass single DID introduce them to a new audience but it made them lose credibility with their old one,
