Default The New Generation and It's Music

Ok. This is a serious music topic.

You take a look at the music from the 60's-80's or even before the 60's.
You can see a huge difference.
The problem is that the music now a days is being written by teenagers with hormones that are out of control.
Like Justin Beaver and his famous lines:

'Baby, baby, baby, oh, though you'd always be mine'

Come on! How old was he ? 14? I don't know...
But the kids now a days ate it up, and the parents promoted their choice in music.
Yesh, parents should allow their children to be introduced to new things, but it's not helping.
Kids now a days probably have no clue who David Bowie, Led Zepplin, or Frank Sinatra are!
It's sad! Parents need to take a roll into their childs life and introduce them to the good stuff!

I am probably a hypocrite, but whatever.
I believe that parents now a days are to involved in electronics, and kids are given IPads like it's a stuffed animal!
They think it's normal with all the electronics, and pop music going around everywhere!

Sometimes I almost hope for the apocalypse.
Kids should have a free choice in what music they listen to, and should explore their tastes.
But media is shoving garbage through their ears.
I guess it is the 21st century, and I guess I am just a hypocrite because I miss when music was good.
But I have a reason to.

Please express your feelings on the subject below!
