Yay this sounds fun. Do I have to create a track specifically for the challenge or can I just link one I've already made? I don't think you guys have heard any of my music yet. If I already have an aquatic sounding track, can I just use that one?

The 14th I guess. Ideally it's two weeks but if we have a lack of participants (not seeing it this round, but interest tends to wane) I'll extend it a bit.

Excited to hear your input, I know you've largely got good taste so who knows where it'll go.

Hehe thanks. I already have a bunch of tracks I could use as most of my music drifts in and out of the whole "I'm dying in a sea of reverb and delays, i'm underwater, I'm drowning" aesthetic. I use a lot of ocean samples. I'll probably have something new in 2 weeks though as I'm constantly making music, and if I don't have something new, I'd rather post something older closer to the deadline so the novelty doesn't wear off before it's time for people to vote.

Also idk if my tastes have any baring on anything because my music sounds literally NOTHING like the artists I like

I'm only compared to artists I don't particularly care for, like Mt. Eerie and Animal Collective (although AC's first LP was awesome). That being said, though, I find those comparisons to also be rather lazy comparisons, kinda like how a lot of people seem to compare Grimes to Bjork. I don't really sound like the artists I'm influenced by, for some reason.
