Question What is it called when music cuts to silence?
What is it called when music cuts to silence?

Preferably as in at the end of a song, but for my purposes the term for a bit of silence in a song works to.

Well if you mean suddenly then it Rest would cover it. But if you mean a semi gradual start or stop to a song maybe a fade in or fade out?
