I had the cops walk into my house and unplug my amp once while I was playing. Not sure what to call that. Coptus interruptus? Warrantless entry? Moss Unplugged?

Preferably as in at the end of a song, but for my purposes the term for a bit of silence in a song works to.
I guess the word you are looking for is "tacet."

I'd call that "Cop missing a hand". *slice* Don't ever touch my ****.

Cops came to shut down our band one night a few years ago (band practice... it gets pretty loud, you know the deal where one guitarist turns up, then the other tries to turn up more, and the cycle keeps going), and instead of telling us to shut it down, they stayed for the rest of our set.
