not sure who that guy in the pic is.
It was supposed to be released this year but they're taking their tine with it apparently. So all the announcements have just been tooling us basically.

I agree, there's good tracks on most of their records. But to me they really toned it down after Bug, and even the good tracks don't have the edge that they had at the beginning.

I feel Mascis has been churning out the same stuff for years, and while he is definitely a good guitarist, I don't really follow them now. I haven't heard their last record - but yeah, Farm did have some good songs.

You're Living... is one of my all time favourites, though. I don't feel they came close to that level on any of their other records.

Interpol are the big one for me. I love their first two albums, their other two suck. Even with the first two I always felt they had the potential to do something special, which they never did. They never made the 'classic' that I know they could have made.

I don't know if it would be more accurate to say they didn't live up to their promise or that their later albums were just disappointing, but Le Tigre. Nothing they put out after Feminist Sweepstakes was any good IMO.

G.G Allin is ****ing retarded(well, that's kind of mean to retarded people but I have no other word to describe his stupidity). that's what I found out with a bit of research. What a pathetic excuse for a human being.

what got me thinking about this was Garbage. I was already interested before I heard them just knowing Butch Vig was involved, who was already some kind of hero in my mind just for his production work on Nevermind and Siamese Dream. and then I remember being impressed with their debut single 'Vow'.
I agree with what you're saying, but I do like to listen to their earlier albums. It is a shame they didn't keep up the momentum.

I think Maximum the Hormone didn't live up to their potential with the new release of ''Yoshu Fukushu''. They improved album after album(the first one being terrible). Their previous album bu-ikikaesu was great, but I felt like it still didn't have their true potential. The new album Yoshu Fukushu has two songs that I find their best, but as an album it's not all that great. Some of the songs are also way longer than they should be, and just plain boring. I think it was a step down from bu-ikikaesu.

Before he died, I heard a rumor that he was going to shove a stick of dynamite up his ass on the fourth of July and blow himself up.

Imagine my disappointment when I heard he had expired from something as pedestrian as a heroin overdose.

Any band/artist who had a "Farewell" tour and still continues to tour afterwards.

How can we miss you if you won't go away?
