I don't like Stay Positive (nearly) as much as Boys and Girls or Separation Sunday, but I think it's pretty solidly underrated. "Sequestered in Memphis" is one of my favorite songs of theirs.

I'll agree with you to the point that there are some great songs on Stay Positive. "Slapped Actress" "Lord, I'm Discouraged" and "Magazines" are probably my faves. But I think I'll always be biased against it because, despite being their most successful record commercially (I think) it followed the greatness of Boys and Girls and felt so shallow and inconsistent in comparison. Obviously you don't agree but I find songs like "One for the Cutters" "Navy Sheets" and "Both Crosses" to be almost un-listenable. If you ask me it began the down-turn for the Steady. I tried to Stay Positive (lololol) after this record...but they haven't given me a huge amount to shout about since.

I thoroughly enjoy "One for the Cutters", but I generally agree with you. I think it's actually about even with Almost Killed Me, but they haven't come close to topping the two after that.

You're Bowie ranking is spot on, absolutely spot on. As is your Outkast.
You're Kanye ranking is absolutely mad. I can't understand putting MBDTF last.
