What's more important?
Iv'e heard people say "yeah, thats a good song but i don't like the lyrics" and I've heard people say "I just think this song has a good message". What's more important to you? The instrumental aspect or what the meaning of the song is?

The instrumental aspect cause the message can vary from a ridiculous to an intellectual one without affecting a good instrumental composition but that doesn't work backwards.

Now if you want to talk about the lyrics in some songs, yeah I have some issues with lyrics in songs, like one or two SOAD songs from Mezmerize and Hypnotize, also some early Eminem songs from the Marshall Mather LP, but other than that, no I don't tend to notice the lyrics or the message much at all. |
