Default Doo-wop music
Anyone here into the oldies?

i have a soft spot for doo-wop music, it's so sweet and harmonious but sadly idk alot of Doo-wop music which is why i made this thread so i can find more about it through you guys.

I'll start with a fairly popular one

Also feel free to talk about any doo-wop group you want but plz put a song of the group as an exmpl

I'm frankly not a huge Doo-wop fan, but Ronnie James Dio started off doing it. Fun little fact I had to share.

it's a shame the original recording is copyright protected cause it sounds amazing to this day.

How does "thats how you got the ladies" implies you have to sleep with them?

Doo Wop genre and singing talent of a male was a very attractive quality and considered charming during that time.

Also, what did you mean you don't consider the above as Doo-wop music? if it's not doo wop what is it called?
