Met Stevie Ray Vaughan standing in line for a bar to open at the old Denver airport when I was 16. He was already a hero of mine so I was in awe. He was so damn nice to me. He signed my copy of Cider house rules that I was reading at the time.

I met the bass player of the Vivian Girls, I was trying to get a shirt from her but she was obviously aggravated with me fumbling with my monies. I also met Weekends too, but I said something really stupid that I regret to this day. I SUCK AT TALKING TO MUSICIANS.

I met Trey Spusnce from Mr. Bungle, Secret Chiefs 3 and Faith No More about a year and a half ago while he was manning the merch table at his own show. He was really friendly and incredibly passionate in the way he talked about music. He honestly seemed like someone I could see myself hanging out with.

I've played 5-a-side football with members of Belle & Sebastian, Mogwai, Teenage Fanclub and the BMX Bandits.
Smoked the good stuff with, and drank with, members of Teenage Fanclub and The Pastels on occasion (my flatmate at one point is related to one guy in TF)... cool folks! Met Steve Albini and Bob Weston after a Shellac gig. Met Mike Watt. Think that's all really. |
