I went to four different high schools, and had headphones in 24/7 after the second, with my own internet plundered music playing.
Thank god. But I think emo music was the big thing during that time. It pissed me off because every crush I had was more interested in girls playing panic at the disco than my massive gothic doom collection. *******s.

GROAN* OMG GROAN* Yes they are on that list. Goddamn I wanted to slit my wrists the summer all the aforementioned bands had chart toppers. It was the ****in death rattle of grunge. But it didn't work like a death rattle should. Because it came at the end of the 90s beginning of the 00s.... It was more like a herpes outbreak on the face of music I think. Yep let's go with that...
