I'm sure if I went back and listened to them now, I'd be disappointed.
You think your high school was bad? At my high school, a girl was LEGIT angry I had never heard of Party in the U.S.A. before.

I was like, "I've heard of Born In the U.S.A." I don't think she even knew what I was talking about. lulz.

I was over in the corner singing lyrics from Hardest Button to Button and The Living End.

EDIT: Oh sorry, I got wicked off-topic. apologies.

I went to four different high schools, and had headphones in 24/7 after the second, with my own internet plundered music playing.

Thank god.

But I think emo music was the big thing during that time. It pissed me off because every crush I had was more interested in girls playing panic at the disco than my massive gothic doom collection. *******s.

GROAN* OMG GROAN* Yes they are on that list. Goddamn I wanted to slit my wrists the summer all the aforementioned bands had chart toppers. It was the ****in death rattle of grunge. But it didn't work like a death rattle should. Because it came at the end of the 90s beginning of the 00s.... It was more like a herpes outbreak on the face of music I think. Yep let's go with that...
