help me expand my musical horizons

I recently realized that I basically never listened to an entire album unless it is by one of my favorite artists. I also haven't really given much of a chance to any artists outside of my favorites. I realize that by doing this I am missing out on a lot of good stuff so can you guys help me out by suggesting some bands, or albums for me to check out? I primarily listen to hip hop, classic rock, and electronic music but I am open to basically anything that isn't country or death metal.
