All I did was google "bluegrass music banter", then followed the "all results from www dot musicbanter dot com" link.
The prog & psychedelic section is right there on the front page |

It is a sub forum of metal that does not make me feel any better about it, and yes, bluegrass is way better than country. It has ethnic roots and some of the most talented musicians ever are and were bluegrass players.

We can't make a seperate board for every sub genre in existance. Bluegrass is a country sub genre, so it goes into the country forum. Psychedelic rock, as the name suggests, is a rock genre. So it goes into the rock & Metal forum.
Should I whine that there's no thrash metal forum? No, because there's a Rock & Metal forum. |

Bluegrass is pre country. Country makes me think of ****ty backwoods americans singing about pabst. Bluegrass is much more than country as psychedelic music is much more than rock. They both tap into lots of other genres and are quite unique. This music forum seems pretty lame I don't know why I bothered to sign up.

No, country is older by a couple decades. I think maybe you're conflating bluegrass with old time music, which is a style with a lot of similarities with bluegrass in terms of instrumentation.

You might as well skip the unloading part.
