The WORST band names

Dave Matthews band-so very boring.
Black Eyed Peas-so very stupid.

And also, was Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars the name of a band? I know that David Bowie's alter-ego was Ziggy, which made me wonder if that was a self-titled album or if it was another Bowie album. If Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars is a band, then that definately has to be a contender.

I fail to see how there is anything bad about that name. I think its fantastic, because its the kind of name that I heard it the first few times and just went "oh yes, I can remember that name". Then after a while I thought about the name and it started to make me laugh, with a picture of hairy neanderthal guys prancing around with mammoth blood smeared on their lips (for definition), sabre-tooth tiger tusks worn in their hair like tiaras and saying things like "oh Ug-og, you bitch!" to each other.

Although, I think terrible band names are superbly awesome.
