This thread shoulda been about ninjas Vs samurai from the beginning

and btw samurais are better than ninjas, ninjas just have a cooler outfit on a fair fight on equal grounds a samurai beats a ninja because ninjas aren't supposed to attack head on they rely on deceptive tactics to win which is why if you have no honor system on the fight THEN the ninja wins.

He will hide like a coward, smoke bombs everywhere, kunais coming from nowhere then BAM! the sexy no jutsu

Historically though, ninjas didn't have those outfits. That's just what the legendary type stories ended up breeding and how they became popular.

Ninjas normally wore the same casual garbs that villagers wore so they could blend in easier. Remember a large majority of them were assassins and spies.
