Default Where do you find new music?

Where do you prefer to find new music? I usual find new stuff through YouTube, but occasionally I'll use Pandora to find stuff that's similar to what I'm already listening to.

Just wondering what other people use.

Most of the music I find, I find in here (and in plug). Also, when I know exactly what I'm looking for, I use last.fm or tastekid.

Recommendations from friends, suggested videos on youtube, related artists on Spotify, occasionally suggestions from Facebook, and gigs with multiple bands on the bill [you go to see one, you end up liking several more].

Oh yes, and sometimes I'll hear songs in movies/ TV shows that I like, and I'll discover new music that way.

Also that's a point, sometimes I'll check out stuff that's been reviewed in magazines/ on music websites, though not that often, because they're usual inaccurate, highly subjective, and pretentious.

Here, and Last.Fm mostly. I go through all the recommendations and search by tags if I want to find specific types of music. Sometimes I look through recommendations on google by checking links to best of lists.

Last.fm, AllMusic, here, Wikipedia and Bandcamp pretty much covers it. Just search for something you want to hear, even if you haven't heard it. Searched psychedelic death metal once and came up with a bunch of good stuff.

I find a lot of music that way as well. Sometimes it doesn't even get me what I was looking for exactly but nevertheless introduces me to stuff I never would have heard in a million years otherwise. On a similar note, I'll sometimes search for best of lists for genres I don't have a lot of familiarity with, like for example I recently wanted to check out some salsa so I started seeking out "best salsa albums of all time" lists and used that as my jumping off point.
