Dull or bland I think sums up the band overall in terms of both music and personalities. However I agree the first two records are of a different class to anything that came after them, and I'll always have a real soft spot for A Rush of Blood... to be fair.

I first heard it during this space show called Odyssey 5 and it fit so perfectly with being out in space and floating around.

I'm not a huge fan of Queens of the Stone Age. The only songs from them I own are on soundtracks (which are quite a few), and I have yet to really listen to any of them all the way through. I can understand why some people like them, and why they are regarded in the manner that they are, but I just cannot get into their music at all.

I don't like black metal, any of it. It's the whole occult, evil and Satan thing. I'm fine with Black Sabbath, but I'm never sure which black metal bands take the stuff seriously.

Green day.
i used to like them right until that american idiot song and from then on Green day is not even semi-punk anymore it's just dumbed down radio friendly songs now but still know they are a talented band and that old Green day is still in there it's just old Green day is not as profitable as new Green day

I hate prog, no idea why. It's definitely not a case of disliking pretentiousness because I'm a fan of some of the most pretentious groups on the planet. And it's not like I haven't given the genre a chance. Thinking that In The Court Of The Crimson King is a terrible album will probably be a permanent blight on my hipster credentials.
