It was that new Billy Joe/Norah Jones album that did it.

Very sad, "All I Have To Do Is Dream" is just a really, really great song.

Just amazing harmonies. So influential to Beatles and others. Sad.

Yep, and "Paradise" and "Take a Message to Mary" and "Wake Up Little Susie" and "I Wonder If I Care as Much" and "Poor Jenny" and "All I Have to Do is Dream" and...

I don't know jack about the Everly Brothers except for All I Have To Do Is Dream and it ends there, but that song will be a forever imprint on my brain.

RIP.

"Bye Bye Love" and...

Don't get me wrong, I like more than one Everly's song, but that's always been the one that stood out the most to me, and honestly I only have a greatest hits compilation. Sucks that artists from before the 1960s really don't have their work available in albums as much, usually the only way I can find a good amount of this music is through boxed sets, and I've never been able to find anything like that for the Everlys. I bet they have a bunch of songs that I've never heard before that are great.

Besides all their great songs from the '50s & early '60s, I particularly love this late-career gem that Paul McCartney wrote for them:

RIP Phil
