^There's been a few albums I've really enjoyed but nothing that's blown me away, that I would recommend to anyone and everyone. So I guess not a great year, but not terrible either.

Damn for real? I could probably put together a solid top 40 or 50 of the year of albums that i genuinely think are really good or better. This last month and a half or so ive found a ton of albums that ive fallen for. And i still feel behind.

The new Satan Satyrs album was good too, granted, not as good as the debut offering. And I finally got around to checking out the new Thee Oh See's album, Drop, and I thought it was a solid release. That new The War on Drugs, as Moss mentioned, was good. And I have been meaning to check out the new Sun Kil Moon that Moss also mentioned, it sounded promising what I heard of it anyway. Many of my favorite releases have been metal, and I haven't really checked out a ton of non-metal 2014 releases for some reason. That being said I know there's some I'm dropping the ball on by not mentioning. I'll edit this post as I think of something though. A bit scatter brained right now.
