There are only a handful of known photographs of FSA. They are mostly all black and white, it gives off a really mysterious air about the band and David's obsession with nature and the lo-fi aesthetic. I mean, c'mon the guy know hows to grow old! |

Taken in 1958 on the steps of a Harlem brownstone, this photo features an enormous number of jazz greats, representing a couple of generations of musical evolution. There's a great documentary about it that's well worth watching even if you're not a huge jazz fan. The people in the picture are:
