Default Random Musical Thoughts

Once in a while when I'm listening to a song, a quirky thought will pop into my head. I'm figuring that this happens to quite a few people, so here is a thread to let those thoughts out and share them with the community.

Example:
Who do I listen to about being a Macho Man? While the Village People tell me to be one, Michael Jackson tells me not to.

I spent an entire afternoon trying to draw parallels between Springsteen's 'Atlantic City' and Breaking Bad ..........I didn't get anywhere beyond "they blew up the chicken man"

during the evenin' or mornin', my day becomes a dejavu while listenin' to classical music. in the middle of the night; my mind goes off fruit-loops with the loveline callers on kroq.

Well, this really took off.

Literally.

Yes, literally. Kinda laterally too.

Usually for me, especially if it's something that I particularly like or caught my ear, I flash back to the time and place where I originally heard it.

Back in 1972 and 1973, when I was a psychotic committed to a Swedish mental hospital, I would spin the first two Blue Öyster Cult albums on my sister´s stereo and indulge in my weird fantasies as I listened to, and was stimulated by, BÖC´s really weird lyrics!
