Talking Upcoming Albums That Have You Stoked!

I know there isn't very many albums I get excited about when they're announced, but what there have been a few over the past year that I was really excited getting my hands on for whatever reason. The feeling of anticipation, knowing what it's going to sound like, what the album artwork will look like, ect. So, what are some albums you're really just wanting to get a hold of?

I apologize if there is already a thread, but I have yet to see a thread that encompasses all genres, or even one at all.

I'll start with the two artists I can think of right now. I bought Dahga Bloom's debut LP from them about a year ago, mainly because I really liked a few songs off it, and it was cheap. I felt like it was a bit lacking, and when I heard 3-4 really good songs they posted on their facebook for their next album a few weeks ago, I got really, really hyped up. I keep going back to these songs, almost daily because they're so good. I've been talking with the band on facebook, and pre-orders for it start around November, but I don't know if I can wait that long...

There's also a new Swans album in the works, and it seems both bob and I purchased a handmade CD signed by M. Gira himself which goes to fund it. I'm really psyched for this as well, considering how much I liked "The Seer". I'm really hoping "Oxygen" will be on the new album, that bassline makes me want to beat my head into a wall until I pass out... in a really good way.

I actually quite like the Dhaga Bloom stuff kind of psychedelic punk rock. The singer reminds me of the Cult lead vocalist in a way I can't explain. Almost Jim Morrison-ish also but I mean that in a good way. Kind of catchy.

Of course i'll step up on The Swans album like you and Bob, i'll probably forego the signed copy in blood though.

I felt compelled to post to your thread cause you called yourself a creeper and I never got that feeling from you whatsoever.

that's nice of you and all but you should post in the thread because you want to talk about music or the OP not because you felt guilted into it. If he never said anything you would have never posted in it.

I personal haven't posted in it because one I didn't see it and two I'm not really looking forward to any albums really.

How I normally end up getting my albums is I wait for release day on Tuesdays and go digging to find out what was released that day while picking out favorites and being surprised that albums dropped that I didn't know were going to drop.

Well I did talk about music and listened to it and actually enjoyed it. What is wrong with having posted in it and enjoying what was posted as a result? And why go off topic and ramble about it and ruin the thread? I actually if you re-read it said I initially posted because he said people weren't posting in the thread because he was a creeper and I don't get that vibe off him whatsoever, that was my point. But thanks for clarifying the reasons behind why I do things. What is up with this place.

A little late in the year, unfortunately. All the albums that I was looking forward to have already been released and i've given my opinion on those already. I am excited for Eminem's album, but that's about all I can think of. Had this been posted in January, i'd have a lot more.

I didn't ruin the thread. it's still around isn't it? I even added my own commentary that was related to the OP as well in my post so it wasn't completely an off-topic post.

I'm the same as DJ in that regard. I tend to find out albums are out after they've been released. I don't have any website I visit that updates me on what's due out when. Which is why I was delighted to see there was a new one out from Fish (who?) and William Shatner! Yeah, I said it! Shut up, okay? I'm looking forward to it after enjoying "Has been". He's doing prog this time apparently...

Okay, well looking at the little list Wiki has, I'm interested in

Leaves' Eyes (haven't heard anything new from them in years)
Asia (although after XXX it had better be damn good! TBA also)
A new Maiden album? A new ****ing Maiden album???
I'll always give a new Kylie a chance, and I see too that TSO have one due, but all these are TBA so who knows? Something to look forward to though.
