I think you'll find a lot of people here are "picky" about their music, if by that you mean they'll only listen to what they want to listen to rather than what they're told they should like. "Insanely"? I doubt it. Depends on your definition. If by that you mean you will listen to a handful of bands/artistes and not even consider giving anything else a chance, then I think your only two candidates here are/were PowerPunisher, who didn't want to know about anything unless it was Slipknot. Or Slipknot. Or, maybe at a stretch, Slipknot, but only if there's no Slipknot to listen to. And Nickelback_rules, who seems to be unable to understand how music existed before Chad Kroeger!

I think the term picky can be revised to say selective or even considered, and you'll get a better idea of how people here, generally, listen to and rate music.

There are days when I can extremely picky, then there are times when I go on a free for all...only to realize why I have those picky times unless I hit something lucky.

Me too. Don't do it on purpose, I just find so much crap out there easier now I'm older.

I am pretty much the same way. I'm never picky about what is being played when I'm around. If I end up hating it I usually ignore it.

Sure, I think most people are insanely picky when it comes to music. The average person listens to only a handful of genres from a handful of time periods.
