Default What was your Summer Song for 2013?

Well summer is pretty much winding down and over for some people. So what was your Summer Song this year?

Was it one of the numerous songs that were played to death on radios everywhere?(I'll add a poll)

Which "summer song" did you find the most annoying and couldn't escape it?

Did you have a personal song that you overplayed? If so what was it?

I've got three although they're not so much reflective of the whole summer but of the last few weeks, they are Lil Durk's 'Dis Ain't What You Want' Lil Snupe's 'X Bitch' and Shabba Ranks.
However, if we're talking as a whole (I'm counting my summer from May to the present day) I guess the one song that encapsulates that time period best for me is probably F'in Problems as it got heavy play as a novelty track when my pals and I were in Bulgaria but also other times my friends and I kicked it back in Scotland.

Yeah, we are talking about whole summer. Get Lucky started out as mines but faded midway through July. Most recently it has been Shabba and Holy Grail. Even when I was at E-Zoo djs were playing Holy Grail even if it was just the intro of it with Justin singing then mixing in their own drops.

The song that I wish I could have gotten away from hearing but was all over the place was French Montana's I ain't worried bout nothing with blurred lines being a close runner up.

Well I guess it's not the whole summer but Wake Me Up by Avicii has basically been the soundtrack to my August. Ive been on quite a few trips these last few weeks and that song has seemingly been playing the whole time. It was one of the best months that Ive had in recent memory, so Ill likely remember the song as being my "summer song" anyways.

Hmmm, good question. I haven't heard any of those except Blurred Lines and I didn't really like that one much. I actually don't listen to a lot of music during the summer. I think I get tired of being forced to listen to music during the school year and I just want a break, lol.

I played "Fairytale of New York" on repeat the whole summer.

My summer felt like this song, and I played it like 6 times a day
